Literature Text

I sit upon this rock,
crying my feelings away,
up above a woodpecker knocks,
by the creek my dog lays,

So quiet and peaceful,
A place just for me below the silent ravens,
around a world so cruel and deceitful,
I run and hide here, my silent haven,

I begin to swallow
my sobs,
my insides are hallow,
my sanity my grief robs me of,

The rushing water soothes me
with her gentle voice,
The wind caresses me,
so warm and moist,

Oh why am I so alone?
From my pained eyes,
to my fragile bones,
inside my soul cries,

I stand up and hold my smarting side,
My watery eyes burn,
I begin to walk on bottling everything up inside,
The birds cry to me, if I want to, I may return,

To my quiet and peaceful place.
Just for me under the silent ravens,
for me it shall wait,
my silent haven.
Another poem :)
